How do you winterize a Heartland camper? ›There are 2 basic methods for winterizing: adding antifreeze or evacuating the water lines. Regardless of which method you use, you must start by doing the following: 1. Open a faucet inside the trailer 2. Open the fresh tank drain valve and completely drain the fresh water tank.
Where is the water pump on a Heartland RV? ›The water pump is located under the unit in the pass-through storage behind the water inlet panel (UDC). Enter the storage door (outside) closest to the front from the passenger side. There will be a panel on your left (under the stairs) to remove and it is in there.
